What’s the story: UPS and the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) have officially unveiled the UPS Logistics Launchpad – a logistics hub for Black entrepreneurs that provides them with the resources to launch, scale and grow their businesses.
RICE is a business incubator in Atlanta that offers educational, networking, mentoring and capital resources to help its community of Black entrepreneurs and small business owners innovate, grow, create jobs and build wealth.
“We have amazing corporations that call Atlanta home, and the inspiration they can have on the average person who has a dream is powerful,” says Jay Bailey, CEO of RICE. “We want to harness that inspiration through companies like UPS. We’re providing access to the entrepreneur and small business owner who never dreamed they would ever have that level of access.”
